DAILY 2-TANK CHARTER

Almost every day of the year we take our guests on a 2-tank, two--site charter. We meet at 7:15 AM at Honokohau Harbor, around our 31' custom built Radon, Lio Kai III. As we put everyone's gear together, we chat, find out how much weight people need, do the paper work, and ascertain our clients' experience levels and diving preferences.

We take a maximum of 12 divers. If we have more than 6, we dive in 2 groups, each with its own guide. Our groups are not tightly structured, "line up and follow me and don't you dare move out of line and let's race around and burn up your air" type of thing. Instead we run "let's spread out, move super slowly and see how many neat animals and/or behaviors we can find!!" dives. Of course, experienced divers are free to do their own thing, although 99% choose to stay near their group so they won't miss out on great finds. We move at 2 speeds underwater, slow and stop, peering under every ledge and into every nook and cranny with our bright lights, searching for the hidden treasures of the reef. We require the use of dive computers, and rent them for those who do not have them.

We do all the gear handling for you, unless, of course, you prefer to set it up yourself. You are on vacation, not us! We give breathing lessons for those who have not learned maximum breathing efficiency. After a few practice sessions, most of our divers are averaging 50-60 minutes per dive.

We return at approximately 1:00 PM but if dolphins find us and want to play, we play. If whales are breaching around us, we stay!! It's your day- and we want to make it the best, most memorable day that we can!
